IOS 18 WHITE SCREEN ISSUE - UPDATES AND SOLUTIONS
Hello WhiteFlag community! If you are an Apple user experiencing an issue with a white screen, please see below for a note from our product team:

Thank you for being a part of the WhiteFlag community. We are aware of an issue with iOS 18 and WhiteFlag where a white screen is shown after signing in or when the app opens from a closed state. We are working hard to resolve it.

If you are not experiencing a white screen issue and have found this page, we recommend staying on iOS 17.

If you are experiencing a white screen, here is a work around that will get you past the screen.

Workaround:
Summary: With the white screen showing, turn on screen recording and then turn it off once screen recording starts.
Step 1: With the white screen showing, swipe down from the top right of your screen.

Step 2: Press the screen record button. After pressing the button (will now be shown in red), you will see a 3 second countdown before it starts. Once it starts, you should see WhiteFlag load in the background.

Step 3: Press the screen record button again to stop recording. Swipe up and you can begin using WhiteFlag again.
Step 4: If you close the WhiteFlag app or log out, you will need to repeat steps 1-3. If you keep it in the background, you can use WhiteFlag just as you did before.

DON'T HAVE A SCREEN RECORD BUTTON?
If you don't see a screen record button when you pull down from the top right of your screen, here are steps to add it.

Step 1: Pull down from the top right of your screen and Press the + button in the top left of the screen.

Step 2: Press Add a Control located near the bottom of the screen.

Step 3: Click the Screen Recording button to add it to the pull down. If you don't see it, you can search for it at the top.
Step 4: Step 4: Tap in a blank space or empty area on the screen to exit editing mode.

You should now be able to follow the steps of the workaround.
